Last week the best of British snowboarders and skiers gathered in Tignes for a week of riding, competitions and parties at the annual BRITS festival and championships.
Over the course of the week, riders of all ages were able to show off their skills in a range of competitions, including halfpipe, slopestyle, boardercross and the ‘Bangers and Cash’ rail jam. As always the standard of riding was off the scale, and despite some challenging conditions, the competitors demonstrated, once again, the high standard of riders emerging from the UK. Regular appearances on the podium were made by the likes of Jamie Trinder, Henry Shackleton, Matt McCormick, Ella Fry-Taylor, Cerys Allen and 8-year-old ripper, Mia Brookes.
Après always features high on the agenda at the BRITS and this year was no exception, with a range of live music and DJs lined up to keep the crowds entertained after the lifts closed. This year’s highlights included Ska Tone, The Dominoes and DJ Kommissar.SDUK Snowboarding News: The BRITS 2015,
